Calculation for SPORTS lenses brings in a special factor of decentration. We take this into account during glazing. This applies also to prism powers.
To dispense our SPORTS progressives first take account of the centration for distance. In order to determine the fi tting height choose either the zero or the main visual direction to work from.
You will note two crosses as a guide to determine the fitting height.
The upper cross is to assist you in ascertaining the zero visual direction; the lower cross governs centration for the main visual direction.
In either case mark the centration cross at the middle of the pupil.
